My work at the big cat preserve was physically demanding, but incredibly rewarding. I really look forward to finding the equivalent somewhere here in Seattle. There is no feeling like carving a dead deer and feeding "Bambi" to a hungry tiger, or flinging rancid chickens over 15 foot fences. I recommend everyone visit your local sanctuaries or find a personal project that changes your life the way my tigers changed mine.

As for my "real life", in terms of my computer skills, I have strong knowledge of both PC and Macintosh platforms and more than twelve years of experience in internet technologies (e-commerce, web design and software development). My true love these days is Plone website design, implementation and project management. I have over two years of experience with Plone and am looking forward to many more years with Plone.

I also have a background in multimedia, but not much time for it these days:

• a BA in Communication Arts with a focus in Television Production and Film Studies (Framingham State College, MA)
• certification in Computer Art and Animation from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh
• five years in radio broadcasting
• two years in live audio production for two well-known nightclubs in Boston, working for numerous artists such as Dave Alvin, Morphine, Beck, the Lemonheads, and Tony Bennett
• assisting in the design of the sound system for Mama Kin, a nightclub in Boston owned by Aerosmith
• two years as technical assistant for my college theater
• one year in creating models and textures for 3D video games
• misc. videography
